GG Innovations LLC, was founded by Samaria White and the book series was created by her daughter Chloie-Brooklyn G. Marshall.
We have one mission: to plant seeds of hope, purpose and compassion in every child's heart. Together, they created Gi-Gi the Giving Grasshopper & Friends: a colorful world of characters and products that encourage children to be kind, live intentionally in their purpose and celebrate what makes them unique.

As seen featured on PBS WTCI Educate

Chloie Marshall is a local student as well as a published author. Caprice Wofford is a community leader and creative poet.
Together, they use the power of words to weave stories and express their inner creativity. In this segment, you will hear part of Chloie's book Gi-Gi The Giving Grasshopper in which Gi-Gi and her friend Ella are heading to the annual harvest festival where all of the grasshoppers gather together in celebration. Along the way Gi-Gi is able to witness as well as demonstrate the power of kindness. You will also hear an original poem written by Caprice, where she talks about the effects that kindness to a neighbor can have. Have you ever done something out of kindness? Have you seen the powerful effect kindness can have? Have you been the recipient of an act of kindness? We challenge YOU to use your words to RAISE YOUR VOICE.
This segment is part of a series of pop-out Raise Your Hand segments known as Raise Your Voice. This series was created in collaboration with Chattanooga-based poetry organization Rhyme N Chatt alongside their rich network of community poets, leaders and educators.
This segment is part of WTCI-Educate's series "Raise Your Hand."
